Bedford Central Community Development Corp. Announces Bachelor & Silent Art Auction
Brooklyn, NY, February 10, 2009: Bedford Central Development Corp. will host their Bachelor Auction and Silent Art Auction on Saturday February 28, 2009 to benefit Home Services for the Elderly.
The benefit will take place at The Spann Jones Fellowship Hall (Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church) 760 DeKalb Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11216.
Sponsored by Brownstone Books (http://www.brownstonebooks.com/), Christ Couture® (christcouturemovement.com), Peaches Restaurant & Bar (http://www.peachesbrooklyn.com/) and Zion Gallery (http://www.ziongallery.blogspot.com/), this event will feature a guest performance by The Angela Watson Trio alongside Guest Auctioneer, Hon. Letitia James ( NYC 35th District Council Member).
This dynamic event will afford participants the opportunity to support a great cause and partake in “bidding” on some of NYC’s most eligible bachelors. Some notable Bachelor’s include Cake Man Raven (Confectionary specialist) and Waleed Cope (Entrepreneur & Philanthropist).
Bedford Central Community Development Corp. has partnered with a team of local artist for the Silent Art Auction. Proceeds from The Bachelor’s Auction & Silent Art Auction will benefit The Concord Home Services for the Elderly.

Founded in 1978, The Home Services for the Elderly helps families assess the need for home care for their older adults and provides home care attendants to support their desires to live independently.
